 Wheel stud removal..
Has anyone removed the wheel studs from an Ami Super hub before, doesn't seem to be the same as a 2cv hub, there is no weld on the back!! Is it just pressed in there??

 Re: Wheel stud removal..
Firstly, no, I've no experience with them, But if there's no weld I would assume they're just pressed in, probably on splines, hope that's not going to be a problem. Rather than 'bludgeoning' them, if you can easily take the hub off, try pressed them out with a vice, with a large socket or similar over the back. Ether way, remember to protect the thread by putting a nut on while you're doing it.

but why? You ain't been reading my thread then!!?? Need to fit longer studs, so the alloys will fit on over the spacers, that will then solve the clearance issues!! Simpols!!

Think I might have to take the hubs off and stick them in the vice, looks like I might aswell do the wheel bearing whilst I'm at it!!!!!!! Wonder what I'll be upto over the weekend then!!
