i think its the better way out of the problem rythem theif i went to the shops today blood- heck, the whole body/steering wheel shook at about 35mph the eye in the arm must be really knackered i,ll post tomorrow

If I lived nearby, I would come around and hit your head with real fucked arm Why on earth reject a healthy arm when an oversized pin can fix the problem.

You can get 17.1 or 17.2 mm. How loose is the original pin? Can you push the pin through without too much force. If the pin slides through without any force, you need 17.2 mm. Best is to measure the hole with a plug gauge. Most pins I fit are 17.1 mm

cheers 2cv viking , i,ll check the pin/eye, in the old arm tomorrow, ive replaced the arm today, no probs at all(the replacement arm is complete with a good k/pin)
