Anyone know what thread the adjuster barrel on the clutch cable is?

You are wrong - they're 19mm and 16mm - and it's the thread I'm after, not the spanner size. But thanks anyway. :lol:

Yes, sort of ... wot I'm trying to do is extend the adjuster barrel because it's the easiest way of extending the cable outer to make an Ami 8 cable fit an Ami 6 with the old type pedal assembly. I've done this by cutting an adjusted off an old cable, but now I need some kind of arrangement to hold it all together.
... I'll post some pictures when I get chance. They're so much better than words. :)

I reckon you may be best off buying an Ami8 pedal box. You'd be able to do away with that wafty crank thing I made for the throttle linkage too. Not sure if the master cylinder would fit though.

weld a gearbox mount spacer on the bulkhead or just use cable tension to keep it there?

adjust by adding some seatbelt anchor spacers?
