 Re: Clutch cable adjuster thread
You are wrong - they're 19mm and 16mm - and it's the thread I'm after, not the spanner size. But thanks anyway.

LOL. This is what happens when you know literally feck all about anything vaguely mechanical, and then think you actually do.

 Re: Clutch cable adjuster thread
Yes, sort of ... wot I'm trying to do is extend the adjuster barrel because it's the easiest way of extending the cable outer to make an Ami 8 cable fit an Ami 6 with the old type pedal assembly. I've done this by cutting an adjusted off an old cable, but now I need some kind of arrangement to hold it all together. ... I'll post some pictures when I get chance. They're so much better than words.

 Re: Clutch cable adjuster thread
I suppose I should really have titled this "clutch cable adjuster thread thread".

 Re: Clutch cable adjuster thread
I reckon you may be best off buying an Ami8 pedal box. You'd be able to do away with that wafty crank thing I made for the throttle linkage too. Not sure if the master cylinder would fit though.
