 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
How strange that there's another f**ked grey Charleston in Ross on Wye ... this is exactly like the one I've just scrapped, only quite a lot better. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1987-CITROEN-2-CV ... 336177f298

Not sure what the significance of a voisin is but a very nice 4x4 if a little pricey! http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/129164324.htm?ca=6_s

Marc Voisin is the father of reproduction of 4x4 and the only one with approval by Citroën France. Marc just passed on his business to another Frenchman.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Thanks Viking. I must say they don't 'look' 4x4 do they? Normal tyres and ride height? But very nice to see anyway.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
This one has 'Old-Nail's dream find' written all over it. A 1959 model - perfect! In grey/blue - perfect! And totally original and unmolested - extra perfect! Unfortunately it's down near Spain so the cost of it would double by the time I got it home. Bah! http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/143054093.htm?ca=6_s

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I'd absolutely love that car. Sometimes I feel like taking a couple of week holiday with a van and a trailer to see what I can come home with. A friend down that way has mentioned that they still have semi rural scrapyards with 2cv's in them near where he lives.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
That car looks great, the steering wheel looks mint in the photo, but there appears to be a dent on the bonnet, next to the grill(no idea how easy/difficult that would be to straighten out ) The car does look remarkably free from rust. It appears to have wider spaced headlamps like on 80s cars. Is it just the angle of the photo?
