How strange that there's another f**ked grey Charleston in Ross on Wye ... this is exactly like the one I've just scrapped, only quite a lot better. :)

Not sure what the significance of a voisin is but a very nice 4x4 if a little pricey!

Marc Voisin is the father of reproduction of 4x4 and the only one with approval by Citroën France. Marc just passed on his business to another Frenchman.

Thanks Viking. I must say they don't 'look' 4x4 do they? Normal tyres and ride height? But very nice to see anyway.

This one has 'Old-Nail's dream find' written all over it. A 1959 model - perfect! In grey/blue - perfect! And totally original and unmolested - extra perfect!

Unfortunately it's down near Spain :( so the cost of it would double by the time I got it home. Bah!

TBH, once you're over the channel and fannying about with ferries & trailers, it's just a bit of fuel and time. And further south means warmer means dryer means less rot.

I'd absolutely love that car. Sometimes I feel like taking a couple of week holiday with a van and a trailer to see what I can come home with. A friend down that way has mentioned that they still have semi rural scrapyards with 2cv's in them near where he lives.

That car looks great, the steering wheel looks mint in the photo, but there appears to be a dent on the bonnet, next to the grill(no idea how easy/difficult that would be to straighten out :? ) The car does look remarkably free from rust. It appears to have wider spaced headlamps like on 80s cars. Is it just the angle of the photo?

hi the tyres dont have a"dot" no but there are several other
details/.135SR15 .671.ESSO E.420/LLP1 NFA6 115 M7 MADE IN FRANCE .
These tyres are the remaining 5 of 10 which I purchased while i was renovating a citroen 2cv in 2007.They came from a tyre wholesaler who got them from a garage which used to be an esso service station. The tyres were made by uniroyal for esso outlets. They had been kept in brown paper wrapping up until i removed it to take photos .Asthey are tube type i also purchased new tubes for them ,hope this is info is helpful regards
