Here's my history of "A" series ownership .....
My first A series was XOE167J ....a 1971 Dyane4 .....we bought it in 1973,both my wife & myself leaned to drive in it.

XOE was replaced in 1975 by JWB229N .....a brand new Dyane6. this was the car which really got me into twin pots and over the years it began to get "personalised" .....sadly,I have few pictures of it ......but heres a young me [early 1980's] .....

....note the go faster stripe ....it also sported a bootlid painting ....

......the mural was done in the about 1979,and was prob'ly one of the first examples of bootlid art in 2CVGB ....[I joined 2cvgb in 1980]
JWB was joined in 1988 by E102XKY ....which is still my present 2CV ....

By 1990,JWB was showing signs of her age .....a quick "blow-over" with the spray gun one Saturday morning while I was bored had her looking a lot better than she really was ....so in '91 she was joined by LWJ98W .....a blue Dyane.

.....JWB kept going for another three years though, before finally dying of a broken chassis in 1994 .....
RIP .....JWB229N ....where-ever you are now ....
My wife finally sold LWJ on in 2000 .....she wanted something bigger/faster .....she settled for a Direwoo Matitz

.....[have any of you ever wondered why I hate Matiz's so much?]
Anyways

.....to replace JWB in '94 .....YEY302W , a 652cc Visa was purchased, somehow,we never took to her,and after an abortive attempt by our daughter to learn to drive in it,it was sold on....in '97

Which brings me up to date .... E102XKY had meanwhile become TBZ6829 ....

.....and before any smart*rs* jumps on me for the vanity plate ...

....its one of a matching pair I got real cheap ....

....OK

There were other "A" series too ......a green Dyane,an Orange Dyane & an orange 2CV .....all of which the numbers escape me and I have no photos, none of them lasted much more than a few months though before being broken for spares.
And thats my [2CV] motoring history for the last 38 years.....a total of some 300,000+ miles
best regards
Terry
