 Re: My 2cv
On previous classic cars that I've owned I've always gone for natural Carnuba wax as it's durable and long lasting. The new breed of waxes tend to have additives such as silicones in them to make them easier to apply, but silicone is a nightmare to get rid of should you ever want to repaint your car. Do the extra work and stick with a good quality carnuba for best results.

 Re: My 2cv
Cheers Old-Nail May consider that in future, once this Mer has been used up. First impressions aren't too favourable.

Ah, I've heard good things of that product, that's why Halfrauds don't sell it

 Re: My 2cv
Oh Clearly I need new glasses If they sell it in Evesham, then Worcester should too. Never mind, I've got a litre bottle of Mer to use now.

 Re: My 2cv
I'll be around the Stranraer area over the weekend too. I must warn you that it always rains in Scotland when I go, so next week might not be an exception, maybe you should wait and go the week I come back.

 Re: My 2cv
I'm off to Barra this weekend. Going in a mate's swish (but a bit boring) new C5 estate as far as Oban. I'll be tenting it, then running a 1/2 marathon... in the rain. Not really looking forward to it tbh, but I guess it'll be memorable!
