check the engine mounts first

Did already, mounts are ok. The worst it is in changing gear down from 3 to 2. All the other changes are rather normal.

It was starting a bit difficult, always 2-3 times. But after i put in 5 litres of fresh petrol it is now starting after a half turn of the crankshaft.

Supposedly some scientists have said that ethanol fuel can be 'off' by about 3 months. I can't quote the source of this though, because I can't remember. So I don't know how much use it is.

I heard that too, the petrol was some 1,5 years in the car.

Was at the 2 cylinder parts market today. Very nice stuff but the place i hope it will be temporary. The cars scatterd all through the neibourhood. I scored 2 NOS grill covers for the aluminum early 60s grill (2 euros each). And a new 50s coton/metal airfilter in it's box for 10 euros. Someone had a very nice boxed 50s foglamp set for the 2cv. NOS with wires switches manual and relay. But 400 euros was somewhat over my budget. As an extra we had very nice sunny weather. But is was a long driver there over the motorway. Not my favorite habitat.

You should have taken the ˝ middenpeelweg ˝N277 until Elsendorp, then to Gemert, from there Beek en Donk, Sint Oedenrode and then Liempde .
No motorway involved, but it costs extra time.

Wil try this next time but i hope they will be back in Gemert.

This on my way to the dentist the all gear changes were very difficult the clutch pedal didn't seem to react normal.
Oh jee not an other gearbox problem please.
At the dentist it turned out the clutch pedal rubber had fallen of en got stuck under the rubber mat. So the pedal didn't go all way down.... pfff. My dents were ok too, so i am happy.
