Hi :)

Can someone possible tell me the dimensions of the carb insulation block please. :)

I'm having a play with a throttle body. :D

@Roger : there are two sizes, 11 mm and 6,7 mm thickness.

As you mentioned differing sizes, I looked on Ecas site, and they mention 9.5mm !!!

No big deal, as I'm just playing with the idea at the moment. :D

This Carb Heat Insulation Block, is outlawed in 2Cv racing if used in excess of height, because it increases the engines torque. (According to John Nash book) :geek:

Interesting!

Could be as much about getting air out of the engine compartment as anything.

A velocity stack is another thought, But I was under the impression that was more to help idle than top end torque.

Another, another thought ..... Is turning the individual horizontal airflow pulses into a single vertical flow.

Not something that helps the average car though :)
