@AZS Maybe it would be possible to mount 2 spheres in parallel?
The idea also may be worth looking at, however lot of lathe/mill machine work... I have a lathe..
Going to try an old Xantia sphere that was on UK ebay?

My understanding is LHM spheres (with Re-gass and Rebuild Valves) do not fit the C5 strut, but have a lead that a French guy has made an adapter?

All spheres fit, even the oldes LHS2 -spheres from -53 Traction fit to 2015 C5. The thread is same all of them...

And, LHM and LDS are full compatible, only LHS2 is total different. LHS2 uses EPDM and LHM/LDS NBR. That is the reason why you can't use pre -66 spheres or any hydraulic parts, unless you change all rubber parts to NBR...

Have been playing with these long enough, made refill -tools for old serviceable spheres to refill with the original plug (what is said it's impossible to refill). Also some experience with different gasket materials and hydraulic fluids...

You can adapt another sphere by using Hydractive central sphere unit, from Xantia VSX/Activa, Xm or C5 with Hydractive3+.

Also suitable "adapter" is quite easy to make fron Cx/Xm brake-sphere mounting piece. The small part under sphere. That "odd-looking" sphere is ld version of brake accumulator sphere, what is replaced on Cx that special-sphere what was used on Ds/Sm and some Maseratis also...

Great job - why didn't you put the control buttons up near the steering wheel?
