This is un laden - There would be a massive 250 Kg to go in there (or a standard American) which would drop it down to level.

Plus, I have no idea how to drop the suspension

Popped up to Ikea in the C4 this morning and stuffed it so full the boot wouldn't close!! Unfortunately, I'm using the 2CV to go to Shetland next week and the only thing I can get in it is my new armchair, so the table and four chairs will have to wait till next time. Anyway, before stuffing the chair in the back of the 2CV I took it out for a run this afternoon in the beautiful warm sunshine we've been blessed with today (goodbye summer, was good knowing you  ). Here's some photos taken this afternoon........

Took the roof off and used every excuse to 'nip out for parts' at work just to enjoy driving round the lanes on what, weather-wise has been a fabulous day. My enterprising work avoidance scheme was richly rewarded as I drove through the rural Sussex town of Storrington, I was checking out a damned fine pair of legs on a pretty young pink-haired filly walking up the street, and when she saw the 2cv she smiled and gave me a thumbs up. My joy was slightly reduced when, on reporting this happy moment to my boss he replied 'Knowing your luck, at the top of those legs she probably had a bloody great cock'.

Made up with the car - Took the cover off, and took her for a spin around the block
