 Re: 1-2-spark
I'm bloody amazed at how fast you have implemented multi spark from it's conception. Well done !

 Re: 1-2-spark
I have reprogrammed the timing section copple of weeks agoo, now I have the benefits of it, implementing new programming code, goes very fast and easy.........
There are 3 to do things on my list......
real time barometer correction...... (making a correction going up and down mountains)
implementing a oiltemperature sensor (about 12 degrees boxes -40-150C and where you can % give more or less advance
changing map and rpm range like you want it to be......
But first I will make the software work so that you can fiddle with the multispark numbers..

 Re: 1-2-spark
Looks like there is going to be a 1-2 spark version 3 soon....... When are you going to stop!!!!!

 Re: 1-2-spark
Of course we want that too! i've been thinking about injection, for monopoint you already have 1 signal, but for multipoint (what I want) you need 2 signals to know what cilinder has to inject. Is it possible to make 1 sensor on the back of the flywheel (like visaengine) and 1 on the front (like you have now) will that be enough? Or is there more to it? Greetzzzzzz Edit: Starts to look like megasquirt if you keep adding things like this

 Re: 1-2-spark
Harley, heres a topic for you, twin spark, coil on cop its even a air-cooled engine.... When I was reading al this I was thinking you are right all the way..... http://rennsportsystems.com/letstalk-2/gasoline-detonation-twin-ignition/

 Re: 1-2-spark
Nice find LPGO, I've been thinking... would it be ok to fire all 4 COP at yhe same time in a wasted spark configuration. Or, would I need to use a single 4 tower wasted spark coil, like found on V8 wasted spark setups., or alternatively, 2 2cv coils... Thoughts?

Harley Do as I told you....... 1.) try 1 2cv coil use original sparkplug left and right then use the new sparkplugs and see if it happily fires on them too. 2.) try 2 2cv coils 1 for left cilinder, 1 for right cilinder firing 2 sparkplugs each. 3.) try coil on cop first 2 original sparkplugs then 4 sparkplugs.... ps.1. I will make you 2 ignition drivers so you can use 2 2cv coils..... ps.2 Be carefull with the ls coils, you must take the leads directly from the chip then, so 1 time incorrect connection and the chip will be gone........ New chip will cost about 10 euro + P and P. As far as I can read in Megasquirt you can take the dwell from 1-2-spark to load the ls coils so it should work!!! ps.3 At the moment I can only deliver wasted spark, but I'm very coinfident there will be no problem with that. Otherwise I will programm a second VR sensor on Cam and will programm sequential ignition as described some pages ago.. (but you then said youve got a Megasquirt so I left it)....... I think Saturday I will post all the components to solder 10 units profesional, so I hope within a month I can start to deliver..... I had the first Mark II (with mapsensor) delivered to ChrisW. for his turbocar, but he had issues with advance retarding under boost (I had a little bug in the software), but I have solved this problem.... (I hope) I myself have problems overdoing advance under low load, I think I'm going to order colder plugs, preventing pre-ignition and see if that helps..... Otherwise I need to implement a tempsensor, retarding ignition when the engine is hot.... 1-2-Spark Mark III.......

 Re: 1-2-spark
I'd like a bolt on injection kit.
