i wouldnt let a known runner ( good carb etc) go for less - youd get £20 weighing it in.

It's only a known good runner to the bloke selling it, if I turn up to buy one I've never seen before and it's not in a car it's a risk. I could spend half my morning fitting it and find I've wasted half a weeks wages. I've got 5 spares at the moment, anybody willing to come and pay me £600 for three of them is welcome to, but I'll be laughing at them as I take their money.

Nobody's ever paid me for 2cv bits. And rarely have I had to pay for bits I need. I much prefer to exchange what's needed for what's needed, or just pay into the 2cv karma.
