 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Umm, there are at least 40 602 engines within 100 metres of where I'm sitting, which is probably why I'm not looking for one of those ... ken 2cvnutter wrote: I have a 2cv6 engine up 4 sale. Not a 2cv4

Ken,
Is a 2cv4 the later 435 or are they 425?

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Hi Ken
I've got a couple of 435's in the garage. One is complete and looks ok but untested (although I was given all the usual spiel of it ran ok when taken out etc etc) The other I know definitely hasn't run for about a zillion years and is my 'parts' engine, but the crank might well be ok once you get into it.
Anyway, let me know if of use.
Will

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Hi Will, the answer has to be 'yes, please!'. It might be a case of dropping a 602 in so that Daz is mobile for Registers' Day, since that could be the logical time for me to collect whatever 435 parts are available/needed. By the sound of the original engine, all that's left to do is a post mortem... ken (Thanks to the rest of the gang for those Leboncoin links, I'll keep looking on there even though the immediate pressure is off. ) Will2cv wrote: Hi Ken

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
A 602 doesn't run ever so well on a 435 gearbox Ken, ratio's are all the wrong way as a 435 revs faster.
