 Fuel hose Anybody seen this lately. Fuel hose is 6 month old

Re: Fuel hose yup been bangin on about that stuff for years, 20 years ago it was useless with the introduction of unleaded now with methanol/ethanol its worse.
high pressure SAE J9 spec stuff is what you/they need

Re: Fuel hose Needs to be this spec "DIN 73379-3E", nothing else is good enough unless the suffix "3e" moves on to a higher spec, it is expensive which is why it is not generally offered except on supply for oe fitment, of course a modern scrap car will be thus fitted.

Re: Fuel hose I have. I fitted some about 18 months ago and the bit from the pump to the carb is cracking badly. I e-mailed the seller to ask his advice and he suggested I tried their 'bio-fuel' stuff but didn't seem overly bothered either way. I get fed up of replacing fuel pipe to be honest. It's getting to be part of the service schedule for me.
