Hi James, don't forget ipgo's comment regarding using the blow gun from the gearbox side of the oil cooler. The gunge is usually caked onto the intake side of the cooler and it's easier to send it back from where it arrived...

When cleaning mine, I use that foaming aerosol gunk and the air gun.

Aerosol degreaser from the front and a soft brush, then I use a garden hand pumped spray from the back to blow the much out with hot water. Has kept mine nice and clean with no overheating driving across France in the 90+ heat..
