 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Also, engine now makes hideous, loud and really irritating screeching noise. Like a cross between an alternator belt slipping and a cat being pushed into a desk fan. In fact, imagine a cat stretched round the fan and alternator pulley. It sounds like that.
Lets see plenty of 2cvs in the snow photos!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? The way I see it is that you tucked me up with a fucked engine. I think it's the clutch release bearing, so it looks like you'll get it back with a new clutch on the back of it.

Mine let me down today, didn't start properly and the battery was flat after less than 10secs, even with slight overcharging, had to get a tow start. I've now stopped being a tight git, and ordered a new battery.
