 Re: 1-2-spark
tonight I put some work into the new PCB Attachment: printplaat rev2.jpg and finished the maptab of the software....... Now you can adjust mapadvance in 10 boxes..... (will be 20 later on for boosted engines) a lagfactor to smoothen the spikes (if they occure) and a trheshold when you want map advance to come in for my opinon it is better to start with mapadvance above 1250 rpm. otherwise the engine's iddle will not be smooth..... (bouncing a little on map advance)...... Lagfator goes from 0 to 100%, so the changes in the new mapnumber calculated by the microcontroller can be ....% more or less from the old number, smoothing things out..... Treshold (for mapadvance to kick in) goes from 600 rpm to 9999 rpm. so you can overrule mapadvance at all making the threshold higher then the rev limiter..... Tune the engine without mapadvance, and once proper tuned tune mapadvance...... mapadvance/retard is from +20 degrees to minus 20 degrees........ I also build in a map correction factor, when you fire up the ignition the mapsensor callibrates itselfs that normal air pressure is 100 on the gauge (in reel life it variates from 99 to 103) at my home 197m above seelevel shunshine/rain....... yes you can use it as a barometer!!!!!!!! It takes about 0.1 to start calibrate, so it is quicker then you turn the key from ignition to starting the engine...........

 Re: 1-2-spark
When 1-2 version 2 arrives - I think you will have to talk me though all the different things. I understand without boost 1 set of timings and on boost automatically changes to other set of timings but other things !!!!

Now does this make sense tot you? map against rpm table At the left Map underneath RPM so you can tune every box with the best advance number. Map 100 = normal airpressure, lower is vacuum higher is boost... you can see advance is advancing under vacuum giving you fueleconomy and retarding under boost to prevent knocking.... Do you understand this better????

 Re: 1-2-spark
I understand that chart - As mine goes to around 0.6 bar boost - what number would that be (130?).
