A 2cv is probably one of the only cars you can bump start on your own, ignition on, get it up to speed, then jump in quick and knock it into 2nd. Admittedly the only time I did it the engine was all ready warm.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? no luck - just took it out after a quick 30 min battery charge. But not long enough as it did not start at the garage. So had to run home to get the car to tow it back. It would not even start being towed ???? not sure why.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Used it to go to work today, and with the hood fully open, too.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Got down to repairing front of bonnet after branch fell off the tree in the high winds and dented it. Also made small bulge in the bonnet to stop the top of the SU carb from hitting the underneath. Need to respray bonnet but that can wait until Spring

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Parked in the car park outside the hospital (I was visiting my mother) and there was lots of space.
