 Brake drum adjusters
I'm starting to suffer from rounded off nuts (!) on the adjusters of my front brake drums. Anybody got experience of these? http://www.retrospecparts.com/citroen-p ... t-kit.htmlSaw them at last years registers day and was tempted then.

 Re: Brake drum adjusters
they seize up solid if they arn,t maintained weld a hexagonal headed short bolt to the rounded off adjuster, soak the shaft in wd40 then give it a go both rear adjusters on my d-lly have this mod also copper-grease added to the adjuster shafts after the lining replacement insures no more probs

 Re: Brake drum adjusters
Thanks for clarifying that ... For what it's worth, I went with the original riveted types for the front of my Dyane in the end. I had the tool in the back of Haynes (page 182) made up by the local engineering firm and it works a treat. But if you want some of the Land Rover ones, I've got some in the workshop that I'll never use. PM me your address Aidan, and if you promise to buy me a beer at FF, I'll stick them in the post for you.

 Re: Brake drum adjusters
Nice one. Just bring them along to FF - save a stamp.

 Re: Brake drum adjusters
Right you are. Better crack on and get a Dyane on the road ...
