well i got good news.... we're pickin up the drummer next week! so i'll be taking my new charlie to registers... the current owners have just taken it for an mot... which it sailed through (aparently) its not taxed.... so its either tax it when we get it, or back on trade plates... either way... sounds like its deffo happening now

sorry lou  still no photos.... but we're hopefully going down early next week.... and the first thing i'll do is get some piccis on the forum  even better - you'll be able to see it in the flesh in just over 2 weeks time  cant wait XD

Taking the only Deuche I've got. Thinking of replacing grille with one like the one on 2CV4X4's picture above. The shiny "chrome" (ha ha) bits on the Captain's standard grille have faded away already and although it's petty it's annoying me. What do the style gurus in these parts think? Yay or nay? Don't want the one with the big chevrons coz everyone's got those.

i like 3 bar grilles, but i think they only look 'right' if you have the chevrons on the bonnet.

Chaseracer's giving me an early grille for the Dyane (because he's nice like that). It's got a chevron missing, but it's no biggie because I'm gonna take the other one off. Everyone who matters KNOWS what it is already! Plus I've got this to go on it instead:
