Well to be honest I was slightly uneasy about setting off on such a long one without a spare, and on a couple of occasions I could swear there was a wheel related noise of some sort. But (to my surprise) at no point did I have to open the bonnet, and the car started on the key every time it was asked to.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Changed the HT Leads in the shed, which has stopped it backfiring when cold, and had a quick spin - it's a while since I last drove it and it reminded me that I need to bleed the front brakes.......
