Re: My new 2CV, running restoration. In theory..
Thanks for the input everyone, Russell, I had a mini in Olympic blue, it's nice but a bit too much "in yer face", surf blue is very similar. If I was going for a BMC colour it would be tweed grey. I like dishwater type colours on old 2CV's, but would prefer to keep it a Citroen colour.
Banjo, that's lovely and almost exactly the same as mine will look, hopefully. The colour on that looks exactly like what I have, but they say in the comments under the photo that it is Vert embruns (green sea).. Very confusing. I'm going to paint the underside of the shell tonight with ICI's interpretation of Vert Cactee, and see if I like it. Will post photo's after if I remember.

I wanted to see if my keys would fit but the wife though it wasn't a good idea baa! What the shot doesn't show is the pool of dribble all around it left by me

Massey Fergusson grey! a tractor classic Unbelieveable i watched that Aberdeen D*lly pittying the fool who bought it as it really was beyond it ....but youve risen to the challenge and done one of the truly brilliant restorations. when you get the mechanical bits gimme a bell and we will make sure it goes as good as it looks.

Just read this thread all the way through. Inspirational! I can't wait to see it finished. Favourite bits so far are the front indicators ... so much better than teh shitty plastic things originally fitted.
