How low are you going?

The sills are normally around 6cm above the floor.. I made a straight line to the end of the sill so it about 7.5cm now.......

So the body is now lowered about this 7.5cm at the chassis, its (more then) enough for me......
may bee I lower the chassis also 4 or 5cm at the front mabee 10 or 12 at rear so total about

Total lowering 10/12cm at front 17/19 at rear........ Don't want troubles with heatblisters from tyres at fenders anyway...... so will see

I'm having some days of (no not offdays), so could do some things to my turbo 2cv....

chopped the frontbench 4 cm.
chopped the steeringwheel holder.
have an ami 8 steering joint build in the steeringcolum????
sandblasted the seatsliders and mounted them.
chopped the frontfenders about 5cm.
chopped and readjusted the lightbar (didn't make pictures of it yet)

So now it looks like a 2cv again..

This is a nice modification, it brings the angle of the wheel more vertical (also clearing away from the beer belly if its a problem!)

Yes, Steering column, I used one from the GS, where did you attach the spline? I but mine up high near the column bushes but I think on the end of the universal joint would be easier!

I guess you mean on the inside of the fenders to clear the chassis. I still need to modify the outer lip of mine as it rubs hard when the suspension bottoms out on them...

Not yet! you have to get rid of the Frankenstein air scoop and replace it with a neat little shaker hood!
I love your work Geo, real no bullshit practical fabrication.
keep it up.

Harley
PS. btw, what are the items in the pic of 2403 & 2401? new air scoop!?
