Wow looking good Light in the distance  The front hinge area on mine is going below the sealer between the hinge and body i know itll need doing in a few years, so that guide is re assuring that its easily possible for an expert

i have a D*lly too james same as yours, try to get some waxyoil into the cavitys i have a very old waxyoil pump pressure container--it has a plunger to pump it up with air to pressurize it and a long flexable pipe with a lance - it works a treat (comes in handy if your consipated too)

Cheers guys, yep I've seen another guide suggesting the tack and fill method.. I think I prefer my method to filler and crossed fingers.

Thanks for posting the hinge repair, I have always heard how daunting it is. The way you show it it looks involved but really not that bad with the right approach
