My [1988reg] 2CV displayed similar problems when the fuel pump was virtually worn out ......it was notably worse on R/H bends and when driven "enthusiastically" round roundabouts ......after checking the float height [several times] .....a new pump cured the prob and I can only put it down to the old pump delivering insufficent fuel.

Stripped a spare ami engine, I picked it up a couple of years ago after it had been left in a shed for 12ish years, it's full of muck :(

Got the engine and 'box out of the beige Dyane. Gearbox is now on the bench with one brake drum off and the rear adjuster removed. The bolt head wasn't half chewed up, and no wonder because it was a bugger to shift even with a pair of mole grips on the snail cam. Off to ECAS next for new adjuster "bolts" and snail cams.

The Acadiane earned it's keep today, transferring stuff from the garage to the lockup storage container I've rented.

Perfect for the job although I may have overdone the 400kg load on a few runs :o

So yours is the 400 with square lights that was in the car park there?
