Feck...a 4 light Dyane with MOT on my doorstep...why can't this happen AFTER I've saved up....

This was my old car - I got Pete Abbot to overhaul the brakes and re-con the steering rack (plus a load of other stuff) - this was about 4-5 years ago. I didn't use it much, it's not the sort of car for daily use (435cc and 6 volt!). It did get a memorable outing to Registers Day a few years back. Very rare in 6 volt guise - this was an option when new in 1968!

Cheers for the info, I might go and have a look, think its going to escalate in price and go over my budget, and I would want to use it as a daily, but B road, town use only, which is fine. I just love the 4 light shell, it just looks so right.

Hmmm , dunno whats happened there, but I know of the garage in question and they used to be one of the places to go locally. They are about 10 mins from my place.
I remember going there years back (We are talking about 15 years back had a mate from school did his apprentiship there) and they had a Ribber in bits under the stairs in front of the Office awaiting attention.
Im guessing the old guys have retired now, judging by a recent look on their webpage.
Looks like the Old school mechs have buggered off now, and there is only a passing nod to anything A Series advertised
