It increased my coolness. Some one asked if I knew it was a Bond car today.

i like it when an a-series get s a bit recognition rather than just a derogatory "one of them D*lly things" or the like?

as usual i expected jibes and sniggering by the Hamster, just as i expected Clarkson not be so kind to the 2CV back in the 90s when TG did the feature on 2cv 24hr racing. it was only Quentin Wilson, Steve Cropley and the Car Magazine guys that were ever enthusiastic about Citroens and the 2cv

Forgive me, but didn't Hammond deride the car and its owners by saying, and I quote, "Owning one would rob you of all of your dignity." F*ck you Hammond, at least we're no short arses.

I don't think it was particularly derisive. And there's an element of truth in it ... I love these cars and wouldn't be without one for long, but they're not always the most dignified of vehicles. I wouldn't turn up to a funeral in one, f'rinstance.

You're not exactly tall. In the eyes of most people 2cv < death.
