Not so sure about the "near concourse condition" just looking at the pictures there is probably a few hundred hours and many hundreds of pounds to get somewhere near that!!!!!!!! I saved it originally from a certain death by crusher as an MOT failure in February 2007. I bought it from a local garage for £100 after being tipped off - it was the best A series car that I had ever owned (and certainly the biggest regret was selling it!). It was very original, being one owner from new. The tailgate, floors etc were rust free and it was one of those cars that come along every now and then that you don't appreciate at the time (until after selling it.........). It needed a king pin for tghe MOT for what I can remember. I put a towbar on it and pulled a Portafold folding caravan all the way to the Czech World Meeting and back in 2009 - nearly killing it in the process! 50 mph on German autobhans with juggernaughts up yer arse...........(speak to Tarkers, he was tail end charlie!) The car has certainly had the rear wings painted at least after I sold it, but even at £2000, its worth it. How many mid 70's Dyanes do you see, let alone one this good? Graham

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
This was my old car - I got Pete Abbot to overhaul the brakes and re-con the steering rack (plus a load of other stuff) - this was about 4-5 years ago. I didn't use it much, it's not the sort of car for daily use (435cc and 6 volt!). It did get a memorable outing to Registers Day a few years back. Very rare in 6 volt guise - this was an option when new in 1968!
