Sold. 8-) I've lost quite a lot of money on it, but it's gone.

Well done! Yeah, selling cars is traumatic, cos they always seem to go at a loss... however, I console myself by thinking of the money I've saved - eg fuel savings; insurance savings; not having to spend money fixing the bastard; road tax savings on high-emissions; not having to buy expensive tyres etc etc.
Oh yes, I always sleep better once I've sent an expensive-to-run vehicle to annoy someone else. ;)

That's how I'm looking at it. Now I won't have to do the front swivels, do the welding on the chassis or get an MOT on it ... in fact, none of it is my problem. Now all I need to do is learn never to buy anything other than little Citroens and I've got it made.

This is how I'm feeling. I nearly bought an old Landrover but was frightened off by the complexity and everyone I knew told me they would drain my bank account.

Going through ABS terror on my Volvo 940 is driving me mentile, looking to get a simpler older car again and an A-series ticks all the boxes, we have one reliable modern in the family so I can justify it to myself, but...

...now I just have to convince the in-laws that their daughter is safe in one of them, especially as starting a family is something we want to do. Might have to go back to Amazons/Saab 96/99 just to keep everyone happy.

My other car is a Ford Puma, which I love to drive... but I hanker after a 96 again. They're great, and their heaters are phenomenal. Instant cosiness!
Here's my old love. Still miss it.

Those, and Volvo 240 GLTs are pretty much a permanent fixture on my Ebay search list.

Gave car a clean, changed the oil and filter and checked it over before leaving early Thursday morning for SPA.

See you there! Ferry booked for 2200 tomorrow night, quick kip at Dunkirk, pick up James2cv at 9.30 then Spaward. Ideally arriving before dark for a change!
