maybe pop over for a visit on saturday, do a lap, watch the start, walk through the paddock, eat some greasy burgers and head home.. Missed it last year unfortunately

Hi, Somebody e mailed me some time ago about maybe getting me a press pass so can take photos in the pits etc but lost e mail (old age). Please can he contact me if any luck with that offer. Thanks Chris

To my knowledge there are no restrictions on taking photos in the pits, or rather if there are they're not strictly enforced providing you're not getting in the way. Generally the pit wall is not to be used for spectating, or taking photos, so perhaps a press pass would allow you to do that, and it would also allow you to get closer to the track at many points around the circuit.

there is absolutely no sense at all over there
the year i was on the spanners( Russ was there too) a certain UK car had a bit of an "off" riping apart the rear end - progress was hampered by old women with dogs standing about smoking in the pit while it was awash with petrol

Yep, what Sean says. Footballs were kicked across the pitlane, ten year old boys were holding up poorly constructed fueling rigs, etc. for a professional F1 circuit and a series with incomprehensible and ever changing rules some of the stuff that occurred was madness.
