I knew he'd eventually have to accept that £500 was about right for that. The thing is, I wouldn't buy it - or anything else - from him at any price now, because he's shown himself to be a bit of a cock with an attitude problem. He must have spent a lot in listing fees ... :lol:

I will be the only gay in town but I like it a lot!!!!

That's my old car. You could have had that for £999 from me in June. I can tell that that it needs all the bushes doing at the front end plus the new shocks fitting. I supplied them when I sold it. Its even got all its bumper end caps which took some finding I can tell you. Plus the PSA alloys its on were a must since it looked shite on the steels with 135 x 13 tyres on.

It goes well though and did many a trip from here to France on beer runs etc. I gave it a thorough servicing when I was using it including coolant flushes to get rid of any sediment etc. I only sold it cos I needed something with more doors and leg room.

The lad who bought it off me found he couldn't insure it for a reasonable sum and that's why he's selling.

How many more times is this person (cock) going to relist this poor old cote??

£200-300 I could almost be tempted, be interested to see how low he gets, as I think he is full of shit about "doing it up" and selling it for 5 grand :roll:

That line - "these are worth £5k restored" is a bit like trying to sell a box of oil paints, pointing at an original Caravaggio and saying "these paints are worth two or three million pounds when you do that with them". :lol:

<Trawls all the classified sites & ebay>

Nope, no 5k Dyanes that I can see.

Still makes me laugh - "Don't make me restore it or then you'll be sorry" mentality. :roll:

£4850

Factor in time and materials, and I reckon it'd cost way more than £4300 to get that Cote up to the standard of this one.
