Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Got invited to a posh 50th birthday party near Worcester of a friend who got rich, so me and Mrs Smiffy had to dress up and everything. Realising that there would be lots of people in tiaras and Range Rovers etc we agreed there was only one car to go in.
Drove back in the wee small hours down quiet country lanes, wife legless and happy, and realised why I love driving my 2CV. Felt a pang of sadness, realising that tax and MOT are up shortly, and that I think it's time to take Snowy off the road for a little TLC.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? took the heater control cables off , removed the inner wire and oiled them up then re-installed them
nice and smooth to operate now on the heater knob
(it was stuck on hot before)
