If you're not going to read it, why are you bothered that it's late?

Currently asking myself why I'm still a member of 2CVGB. I'm still waiting for June's mag to drop through the door, and when it does eventually turn up I'll probably not read it anyway.

I was so tempted to ignore this.

Have you considered being proactive?

On the 2cvGB forum there's a message about late mags - you could read it. In the front of every magazine there's a contact called 'misssing mags' with a phone number - you could call them. You know I'm very active on here - you could pm me?

So given all the options, what's short circuited in your brain that you think it's somehow easier to post negative comments about your own laziness and lack of initiative, when given the time to do so, you could probably have made a positive effort to find the answer to your question.

Quite

Don't forget Jonathan that it's written and all done by volunteers. Who aren't paid, and do it for the love ad appreciation. It must really hurt and upset them when someone says something like that!

I was going to fly off the handle as I think that was a bit out of line but restrained myself ;)

I think I have found an opportunity for a new job. It seems being a banker is the best job in the world. As a banker, when I am dishonest my employer gets fined lots of money but I keep my job and the bonuses I achieved while being dishonest. I also get a subsidised mortgage which is based on an interest rate that I dishonestly manipulated.
If my employer gets into financial difficulties the taxpayer will give my employer a whole pile of cash to get them out of the difficulties. My employer will have to make sacrifices though. They will sack a pile of people at junior level who did nothing wrong.
I can continue in my role of buying and selling bonds and manipulating interest rates that will bring countries to their knees and see millions of people out of work. But I will still get a big bonus for that and can buy another big house in Portland Road W11.
