Post air filter damage
Is it possible (within the realms of cost-effectiveness) to repair this damage:

the bits do seem to be there still, they're just attached to a different part of the housing!

Mark,
I've never seen one go like that before, maybe someone tried to get the lid off without undoing the butterfly nut?

Anyway, that looks as though it's a Dyane version, not a 2CV one, so are you going to Registers' Day?
I've got about 4 Dyane metal air filter boxes spare...

Looks like someone has been there before with the welder.......Maybe have another go if its a rare one.....Otherwise, sling it over a hedge and replace :)

I believe it is a Dyane fitment - I acquired it (and a few other goodies) after being approached by an elderly gent in a pub car park while on my way to the Mallory Park races recently :?
It seems a shame to throw it away...

I am almost certain to be at Registers Day, Ken - I hope to catch up with you there :)

Mark,
in that case, it's too far gone to bother trying to repair it.
Maybe hang onto the plastic filter insert and the butterfly nut, though?
