 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I knew what pajero meant. I speak Spanish. It's not called that in Spain. Neither was a NOVA called a NOVA but a CORSA because No Va means 'wont go' Ha ha.
Love that 5oo euro ripple, has anyone any experience of buying a car from France?

Just as a BX TRD was called a BX DTR in Britain, as TRD looks too much like turd!

Then ask me in a couple of weeks... <grin> Seriously, I did it before, about 15yrs ago, with a matt army green Acad. Pre-internet, though, so it was found in the local paper and seen in the flesh. Assuming the seller's the genuine old owner, rather than a trader trying to make a quick buck off it, expect to be greeted like the long-lost prodigal. They'll be over the moon it's going to a good home. Also expect that any structural work that was done to the car in the past will have to be undone and done properly - which will take more time and effort than just doing it properly the first time. But pop-rivets are structurally fine over there.
