Post Juddering
Hola.

I don't want to admit this but I'm currently in Benidorm and I would like to make a speedy exit. The car is juddering when the accelerator is half way down or anything less. Full throttle its ok. It was kind of like I had shit in the carb but I cleaned out the jets the other day and its still doing it.

Any suggestions welcome thankyou. 8-)

Check your driveshaft bolts and nuts are tight, the ones that hold the shaft to drums or discs, 6 each side.

crappy fuel? dirt in somewhere? Air leak?

What judders? Engine or drive shafts or gearbox?

We stopped in Benidorm on the way back to the Airport last summer... bits in the older part were ok but didn't see many Spanish!

Ok make that more of a blubbering. Its not a scary judder as is in ''the wheels going to fall off.'' Its more of a foot on the floor and it takes a while to think about whats going on then it kicks in.

I'm sorry. I had to see Benidorm. Its a shithole. Never go.

Max,
has your mpg improved noticeably since this fault started?
If it has, it could be a partially blocked jet.

Alternatively, if it only happens for a few seconds just after you've pressed the pedal down, such as when changing up through the gears, it might be the accelerator pump gone awol.
