Hmmm, I'm going to keep an eye on it, but if it looks like it isn't going to pull its socks up by then I may have to sack this off... No way do I want to be drenched for a week+ & have to pay through the nose for the privilege!

As much as I don't want to let J-Dubz down I think I'm of the same opinion. I'll be keeping an eye on it, but what with my house move, generally being skint and travelling abroad being so bloody expensive, I don't want to spend money I don't really have on trudging around in the mud being cold and wet. I can do that at work and get paid for it.

I love the French atmosphere of 'oui oui let us give up and bottle out' going on in this thread

It's 4 nights! I can't wait to get abroad :D

That's cosyou open the door to a hopefully dry van. Where we climb into a flooded tent that's turned into a swamp and all the clean socks are muddy

Just think of it as a character building experience. :P bad times if nobody goes though, I'd still rather smell of wet anorak in a bezzin little tabac than do this exam D:

I'm going regardless - time booked off work, already paid for, and I'm really looking forward to it.

If we let the weather rule our lives we'd get fuck all done.

If it's better than Berck in 2005 it'll be good.

So let me get this right ..........

I spend all winter thinking I cant afford to go to this......
I then find out that not only can I afford to go to this but both my lady and I can get enough time off work to make a 2 week holiday out of it ........
I get excited .......
2 weeks ago I book the ferry ......
I get more excited ......
Now I find out it's going to p**s down with rain, nobody else is going to go, I'd be better off going to Scotland (!).......
Am I down-hearted?????
No - these 2 old chaps are gonna be there!

I've got all the time in the world, I've managed to insure the Ami!

But, other than that I ain't got a pot to piss in otherwise I'd be very tempted to go and get soaking wet and covered in mud.

Enjoy it those of you that go.
