 Kingpin washers/shims
 on kingpins which washers go where,when i took the pin apart there was a single thrust washer on the top and a dust cover one plain washer and 1 thrust washer on the bottom,new kit has 2 plain washers and 1 thrust washer and a dust cover,haynes manual shows no top washer and 2 plain and 1 thrust washer on the bottom under dust cover,scratch head time

Thanks Russel,have already read that but it doesnt mention if all the shims go in the bottom or 1 at the top,cheers!

The photographs here do not show a shim above the arm, though. Inside the cover, the stack is plain washer, grooved thrust washer, plain washer... ken rustygubber wrote: Thanks Russel,have already read that but it doesnt mention if all the shims go in the bottom or 1 at the top,cheers!

Thanks for reply Ken,are you saying no top washer,all three on bottom with thrust washer sandwiched in the middle of the two plain ones ?
