 Re: Welding help!
No, been working on other cars dropping in for repairs. Did check the wire tension and speed, no worries there. Nice and even flow. Me think it will be handed over to welding firm to service the beast. Hate when things are not working.

 Re: Welding help!
Probably too much wire speed or not enough heat ( amps)
your weld is not melting into the sheet properly so it is sitting on top of the sheet No penetration!!!!!
ken is correct bottle should be upright but as the weld is clean it is not a gas issue Practise for about 6 months and u probably get the hang of it
What thickness wire ? best is .8 mm wire for 2cv thin welding as .6 snags and can cause hold ups alos .8 is better for non new metals

 Re: Welding help!
I recently had to service my welder...
Did 3 weeks straight on structural RHS, it ran beautifully, then two months later it would just fart and spit everywhere... Then it was fine for a few days...
The service guy couldn't even get it firing to use his test equipment... It was a faulty relay, not very common from what he said... I ran like a little ripper! $350 later mind you...
The service guy also stressed to always have a clean nozzle and through in a spare for good measure.
