Hey Jon, cool project! Are you aiming for a race look car, or do you have intentions of competing in the 2cv race series?

Cheers Neil, the aim is to get my racing licence at some point and race it. But in the meantime, I'm planning on using it for things like work and 2CV camps etc. Whose will be lowest, mine or Russ'? So long as I don't have my own version of his "Bad times"

Just a few more random piccies; The shell with rollcage I bought from Derek Coghill. I did the 600 plus mile round trip in a Freelander (without breaking down!) in 16 hours! I'm looking forwards to seeing this welded into the shell but the shell needs more work than I thought.

Awesome! I doubt if anyone could experience that amount of 2cv related 'bad times' in lifetime, let alone a single weekend!

Spanners style progress tonight. I got the shell out of the garage, swept the old bulkhead into a binbag and put the shell back in the garage the other way round. This weekend will hopefully see the drivers side rear arch, boot floor and seat box welded up. Then, it's time to cut out the manky floors, weld in the inner toe-board then the cage can be fitted folowed by new floors! It's getting too exciting here in Spanners-land
