Many people want to live in France. I want to live in England, you have everything just down the road. Working on 2cv's in France, everything cost a small fortune but much cheaper in England.
Want to buy these but no shipping across the pond, bugger.
Each spool cost 28 euros here vs 9 pounds, bugger.

Hi All
Weldequip will not ship to France.
I have asked in the past.

Do not even ask about gas prices over here a guy near me paid 284€ for gas and bottle.

It Seems everything connected with welding is well over the top.

Regards Peter

Here in Slovenia... first you must buy bottle (empty) and than you can change it for full. Price is depending of how big is bottle you want.

Other way is ... you find some old CO2 fire extinguisher, than go to fire departmant and thay will test it and fill it with CO2 . Normal plain CO2 is good for MIG welding cars.

Sound stupid ? No, it is cheap. I normaly pay 10 eur for filling 10 litres bottle and it last adleast for 2 cars and 2 chassis.

I'd rather put my dick in a blender than use gasless, however, if you want some welding supplies sent over let me know what you want. Sounds like you could drive over here, pick up two or three bottles and drive home and you'd be quids in. I'm happy to set up an account if you fancy working out a deal like that? We're on pretty good terms with the local welding suppliers and if you wanted me to put a bulk order in, you can pay over the phone and I can bring it out to you at cost.

Thanks kindly Russel.
I have 1 bottle on order coming back to Bretagne from this mob http://www.southwestgassupplies.co.uk/ An English 2cv owner living near me offered to bring back a bottle to test. Another French Acadiane owner gave me his MIG welder Swedish ESAB but no bottle. I will eventually wear out my Italian gassless welder and move on ( 10 years old now )
If all fail I shall return to you and maybe cook up some deal.
Thanks again
Viking
