A very sad day indeed. I was very shocked to hear this.

Vic was a lovely chap, who worked hard for the club, was always happy to chat, and to listen to the views of the membership. My deepest sympathies go out to Dot and the family.

I'm quite shocked, he was no age was he? I hope the family are coping as well as they can, and I express my sympathies to them too.

Heard the news this afternoon. Vic had done a great deal for 2CVGB and had been a good chairman. He was also a down to earth good bloke. His death at such an early age is a great shock and makes me more resolved to enjoy every day of my life to the full.

That's dreadfully sad and shocking news; heartfelt condolences to Dot and their family.

I'm profoundly grateful to have known such a good bloke as one of his 2cvstuff customers and through his services to 2cvGB, but regret that I never took the opportunity to know him socially.

Awful news and my thoughts go to Dot & the family. Life is so cruel, taking from us the good, and leaving the bad.

Very sad news. Although I didn't know Vic that well I was very aware of his excellent work for 2CVGB and he was incredibly generous with supporting a few of my raids through his business.

My condolences to Dot and the family
