 Re: Headlamp switch
I need to see which wires go where I *might* have taken both switches of the cars and made no note of what goes where Too much excitement. I know the horn and the blue one and the greens its the yellow and purple ones giving me a headache. Ta Neil!

 Re: Headlamp switch
Top tip, if you are changing one have the old and the new side by side and change each wire to the new one in turn, can't get it wrong then. I'll just nip outside and take a pic.

 Re: Headlamp switch
Wicked ta, that sorts out the 1975 one, just the 88 to do now, Thank you! I'll take it slower next time, and maybe not take one off before bed and try and put it back the following day

No Probs BTW, why do you park your car on its side, short of space? P

 Re: Headlamp switch
The local Yoofs don't like me! Thankfully after that first time I painted grease on the sills and keep the windows open at night so they have only managed to smear grease up the doors or get shouted at since.

I've got halogen bulbs in and thingumys fitted (too tired - cant remember what they're called) but my switch gets really hot. Dirty connectors?
