Re: 1979 Jaune Mimosa 2CV There's a lot I'd like, Trabants, RWD Ladas, rear engined Skodas, all stuff I've never had before, but if the 2cv is worth the right money and it finds a buyer then I should have enough wedge saved to buy a decent Escort, ideally a mk2 4dr ghia, which is the model I covet most. I've recently received a little bit of inheritance (lost both my grandparents earlier this year) and selling the 2cv would hopefully give me enough to buy a good Escort which would hopefully always be worth a good price, they're not getting any cheaper certainly. I contemplated a few other ideas, I wanted to buy a Daimler ferret, a really good W123, an Ami saloon but all of these have practical day to day drawbacks. I might wait until after Christmas as I don't know if people are wanting to spend money on cars at this time of year.
