that was the 3rd choice an old diesel Pug once all the bits that are going to fall off have.

as for the Audi thing the skoda has more audi marks on it than skoda if you start to look? dont know about diy abilities as with most moderns there isn't much to fiddle with under the bonnet and everything is fly by wire so thatll all go wrong in a couple of years

The other half has 2002 Clio and its still relatively doable, apart from the ECU and sensor stuff, so I'm hoping a 1995 era car with limited electronics is a bit better. Anyone had success with OBD II and all that?

Am quite attracted to a diesel felicia, just for the sheer thriftiness of it...

Much frustration with amazon marketplace.

Ordered 1x 'oxford textbook of medicine (three volume set)' what arrived was volume two only and a receipt with the '3' of '3 volume set' crossed out in biro.

Unlike ebay you can't see the exact listing you bought after you have paid, so I have no way of checking for very small print before emailing the seller, so should I:

a) send a nasty email along the lines of 'where are my other books?' and appear a complete BMW driver should they have put any small print in the listing?
b) ask nicely if only volume 2 is included, and set them up to say yes and run away?

Post Re: The O/T thread!
Im currently selling of a load of shit ive collected, and buying some more shit to make some money on (hopefully) hoping to make some decent money, and with that im going to buy a bike,
a motor bike,
i used to have a chav wag 50cc, and I sort of regret selling it, cheap insurence, cheap tax and cheap fuel bill etc etc but at the end of the day it was slow, de restricted, i could get 52 on a v good day!
i sold it for a mere 600 after re building the engine, although i put the clock round a fair amount (about 16000 in a year!) I too this day wish id kept a bike,
So in conclusion, im looking at buying an an taxed un mot'ed non runner 125cc to ride, from a friend of mine, and on a cbt (L plates) And to go on to do a full bike liscense, so am i selling my car? of course not, am i going to use the car on rainy days? of course!
if i am succesful in my gamble with buying and selling my next item i should be able to afford to tax, insure, get my cbt and buy it, not bad, eh? ;) so really the bike would be for bad weather, salty roads, and for commuting, the 2cv? would be used for the whole summer, and weekends, snowy weather,
i just seem to spend a lot of time driving around on my own, in a car doing 40mpg ish, where as the bike would do 100 mpg probably!

My new hole swaging tool arrived today. Maybe I'm a bit of a pervert but I'm really rather excited about this. It means I can swage holes, and leave super cool looking holes instead of your average boring ugly non-swaged holes.

I'm guessing most of you probably won't understand my excitement.

mmmmm swagey

remember someone on a 2cv forum( from before there were pictures on t'internet but there were still fights about certain chassis) telling us that holes added strength and therefore drilling your name in a vital element made it stronger.

looks forward the the yellow one looking like a swiss cheese, its the right colour.
