Ami sold. I must admit, I'm going to miss it.

I was thinking it would've gone for a bit more than that.

Sold to anyone we know?

I was hoping for a bit more, but that's ebay for you. I think I sold it for thirty quid less than I paid Russ for it, and I've had a lot more than £30 worth of fun with it. But I really need something I can load up with broken concrete or topsoil or firewood, and as cool as the Ami was, it wasn't really much good for that.
I don't know who's bought it, all I know is his name's Richard and he's from Loughborough.

Do not go near this car.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-CITROEN-2CV6-primrose-yellow-/120811816070?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c20f20486#ht_500wt_1126

looks ok in the photos but painted straight over rust and the red/white D*lly stripes (you can see the colour). Rusty floors (mats glued down), smart car tyres, rusty bootlid and doors and bumpers. Wings don't fit so there are two bolts each side. Stick on chrome trim over the vent flap aluminium which was painted on the car. Low compression, etc, etc.

New customer of my 2CV mechanics asked them to look at it as she'd just bought it for £5000 and they told her to get her money back straight away (she was very upset). We are planning on going to the "trader" together in my car and ask what he's playing at - it's only up the road from me.
