I managed perfectly well with my C4 [1.6HDi Coupe] last winter [which was the coldest on record for many years in the UK]

So it's 2011 and Citroen are making cars that don't work when it's below 10C? More like Citroen want to sell you all manner of tat that you don't need.

S'ok chaps, I don't intend buying and fitting one, seeing as I never fit the muff to my 2CV :lol: I was just bring it to people's attention. :)

fixed that for you...
If a fan pulley breaks during the 24 hour and the driver doesn't notice, you get about 2 or 3 laps before the engine's jiggered.

@ Jonathan,
guess you have one of those _extremely_ rare 2CVs which were fitted with a thermostat, to allow them to cope with up to 30*C difference in the ambient temperature? ;)

I've had the fan fall off a few times
Only time I've realised is when the engine smells hot in the cab!
And it will idle higher
