As you know (or not) I'm trying to make my own electronic ignition device for a 2cv, I can make my 2cv idling... but I can't get it revving (yet).

But when my last Visa ignition-box broke down 2 weeks ago I needed something.

I don't like 123 ignition and derivates (don't ask me why; just a feeling)

So I run into this:

It cost me about 180 euro's all together so it is even cheaper then a 123 with adaptor for my Visa engine..

A small box at the size of a cigarettebox, which can do the ignition and even injection at a 2cv (sequential) or semi sequential (GS(A))...

here are some pics. (I soldered mine together myself, but you can get it almost ready to go).


All you need for ignition is a VR sensor and some wires, but it even can run at 2cv ignition-points (but no wear at all).

It is free programmable (Megatune/ms tunerstudio (free) software) so you can make your'e own ignition curve......

Any ideas why you couldn't get it to rev?

Genious? Jameswallace I only tell about the things which work, the many things I make and don't work I won't tell about

Why it doesn't rev, well it works with a microcontoller which has got a little timer inside, now what it needs to do is to count the time between 1 complete revelution of the crankshaft, when it knows the time it can calculate the advance and give the spark at the exact spot, but the timing is random
and so the spark is random and I can't programm it right......
